Savage Bobber

The Savage Bobber went into production between 1997and 1998 in Italy. The idea was to develop an aircraft with good handling and STOL properties, in the classic, proven design and traditional construction, which is economical and easy to build but also to repair.

The original Savage Bobber

The Planeprint Big Bobber is a completely new development and has technically nothing in common with our little bobber. We have tried to match details and dimensions pretty much to the original aircraft as far as it is possible with the 3d print technique. The flight characteristics are excellent due to the low wing load of 43 g/dm2.

Basically, we recommend the Big Bobber to experienced pilots, with practice in takeoff and landing. It is very easy to fly, but 3d-printed models want to be landed gently.
